I believe it is still a problem with the DB communication, but since I am not an expert and the error message is cryptic, I am lost. I restarted and ran the application again and error still was there. ![]() So I downloaded and installed the MS access drivers from microsoft. I thought this could be because the test computerĭoes not have access/DB installed. No crash occurs in my development window. When I select the choices and click on the button in the second window that is when crash occurs. The button click on main window builds the new window without any problem. In the btn_SetSlab_Click routine the application communicates with a DB to get some data. After selecting the choices in the three combo boxes and entering values in text boxes, when the user clicks on the button, the btn_SetSlab_Click routine is called. The user control has three combo boxes and two text boxes. This routine builds a new window and places a UserControl and a button. The routine PlaceSlabControls is called by a button click from the main window. Below are also some notes that I think are useful: The complete error message is given beloe. But when I try it in a different computer the program crashes with exception "The signature is incorrect". The program runs fine in my development computer both from within the IDE and by double clicking the exe. ![]() I am writing a windows application in C#.
